Por ser um material n\u00e3o condutor, o PRFV n\u00e3o interfere na opera\u00e7\u00e3o de dispositivos el\u00e9tricos e \u00e9 utilizado em constru\u00e7\u00f5es militares, torres de aeroportos e institui\u00e7\u00f5es m\u00e9dicas equipadas com aparelhos de resson\u00e2ncia magn\u00e9tica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Al\u00e9m da durabilidade, resist\u00eancia \u00e0 tra\u00e7\u00e3o e baixa necessidade de manuten\u00e7\u00e3o, a rela\u00e7\u00e3o custo-benef\u00edcio dos produtos de PRFV se beneficia de seu menor peso (cerca de \u00bc de uma barra de a\u00e7o compar\u00e1vel): mais vergalh\u00f5es por caminh\u00e3o dentro dos limites de carga, menos m\u00e1quinas de i\u00e7amento e ferramentas de corte necess\u00e1rias, e menos carga sobre os oper\u00e1rios envolvidos na instala\u00e7\u00e3o dos vergalh\u00f5es. Uma melhor rela\u00e7\u00e3o resist\u00eancia \u00e0 tra\u00e7\u00e3o\/peso resulta em um peso mais leve das estruturas finais, o que \u00e9 de vital import\u00e2ncia em ambientes com baixa capacidade de carga.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-x-large-font-size\" id=\"scientifically-substantiated-benefits\"><strong style=\"0color: #f05a1a\\&quot;;\">Benef\u00edcios cientificamente comprovados <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O estudo recente realizado por Ginghis Maranan, Allan Manalo et al. (\u201cUma Vis\u00e3o Geral do Uso de Vergalh\u00f5es Compostos como Refor\u00e7o em Estruturas de Concreto Geopolim\u00e9rico\u201d) demonstrou que os vergalh\u00f5es compostos representam uma solu\u00e7\u00e3o mais ecol\u00f3gica, dur\u00e1vel e econ\u00f4mica para aplica\u00e7\u00f5es na constru\u00e7\u00e3o. Estruturas de concreto refor\u00e7adas com barras de metal apresentam microfissuras devido \u00e0 ferrugem do metal e exigem testes de tra\u00e7\u00e3o regulares. Vergalh\u00f5es de FRP resistentes \u00e0 corros\u00e3o usados em constru\u00e7\u00f5es de concreto podem dobrar a vida \u00fatil estrutural em compara\u00e7\u00e3o com a tecnologia de constru\u00e7\u00e3o convencional baseada em concreto refor\u00e7ado com ferro.
