Les r\u00e9seaux routiers vieillissants, dont certains datent de plusieurs d\u00e9cennies, peinent \u00e0 faire face \u00e0 l&#039;augmentation du trafic et aux lourdes charges qu&#039;ils supportent quotidiennement. De plus, ces structures sont constamment expos\u00e9es \u00e0 des conditions climatiques difficiles, allant du gel, source de formation de glace, \u00e0 la chaleur accablante, source de dilatation et de contraction des mat\u00e9riaux. Ces facteurs contribuent \u00e0 la d\u00e9gradation rapide des rev\u00eatements routiers, entra\u00eenant nids-de-poule, fissures et autres d\u00e9gradations qui compromettent la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et l&#039;efficacit\u00e9 du r\u00e9seau de transport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L&#039;entretien de ces syst\u00e8mes vieillissants pose un autre d\u00e9fi majeur. Les m\u00e9thodes de r\u00e9paration traditionnelles sont non seulement chronophages et perturbatrices pour la circulation, mais aussi co\u00fbteuses et r\u00e9currentes, ce qui conduit \u00e0 un cycle de solutions disparates, ni durables ni rentables \u00e0 long terme. L&#039;impact environnemental des m\u00e9thodes traditionnelles de construction et d&#039;entretien des routes ne doit pas non plus \u00eatre n\u00e9glig\u00e9. Les mat\u00e9riaux utilis\u00e9s dans la construction jouent un r\u00f4le essentiel dans la long\u00e9vit\u00e9 et la performance des routes. Il est donc imp\u00e9ratif d&#039;explorer et d&#039;adopter des mat\u00e9riaux offrant une durabilit\u00e9 accrue, n\u00e9cessitant un entretien minimal et ayant un impact environnemental r\u00e9duit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les composites en polym\u00e8re renforc\u00e9 de fibres (PRF) apparaissent comme un mod\u00e8le d&#039;innovation dans ce contexte. Ces mat\u00e9riaux, reconnus pour leur excellent rapport r\u00e9sistance\/poids et leur r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 la corrosion, constituent une alternative r\u00e9volutionnaire aux mat\u00e9riaux de construction traditionnels comme l&#039;acier et le b\u00e9ton.
